Camping d’Artagnan is a family run campsite/glampsite with views over the Pyrénées mountains. Set in amongst the sunflower fields we provide a luxurious, romantic and secluded getaway location to suit your needs. We have a selection of options to choose from, including catered spacious bell tents to relax and de-stress inside and fire pits, BBQ areas and hot-tubs to chill out in nature.

Uniquely situated in the centre of France’s South Western gastronomic tradition known for its wines, Armagnac, duck, foie gras and cheese. We provide an ideal location for indulgent relaxation or active holiday goers. At a short distance away are beautiful lakes for swimming and walking.

There are family activities at the local lakes such as tree climbing, ziplines, paintball and hiking paths that link to the world famous Camino de Santiago a UNESCO world heritage site. All around at short distances are beautiful villages with historic architecture from the middle ages and beyond. There are very inexpensive traditional restaurants and more upmarket wine tasting lavish dining rooms.

At a little further out from Camping d’Artagnan is in the newly named historic region called Occitanie Which includes the region from Bordeaux, Basque Country France, Toulouse and the Pyrénées mountains. Our site is located in the Gers less than 2 hours from the Atlantic coast and an hour and a half from the ski resorts. The Pyrénées are equally as beautiful and interesting in the summer months where there are spa towns such as Cauterets to name but one of many.

From April to Late October there are festivals of all descriptions in every village and town, most notably the International Jazz Festival in Marciac and Tempo Latino in Vic Fezensac.

Other attractions include the Nogaro Race Circuit that has a full calendar of events for the automobile enthusiasts. The Courses Landaises, traditional games are found all over the region. In the summer evenings the lake side restaurants in Aignan and Lupiac have music and bands set in a family atmosphere.

The town of Lupiac has a weekly night food market throughout the summer months with outdoor music playing and family style dining in the village square. Too numerous to list please ask us what’s going on during your stay!

We are located on a hill, at an altitude of 1,012 feet (308.5 metres), and set in 100 acres (220 vergees, 40 hectares), of private land with no immediate neighbours. The road that gives access to our property is marked as a dead end, so there is no passing traffic. We can therefore guarantee you an oasis of tranquility, unrivalled seclusion and peace and privacy during your stay.

In addition to the salt water swimming pool, barbecue areas and free internet access, there is a laundry room equipped with a machine, a sink for hand washing delicate items, laundry baskets, pegs and washing powder along with an outside drying facility.

There is a games box with badminton, boules etc., whilst the games room is equipped with a full size pool table, ping pong table and a darts board.
